I'm really upset to say it but it was a bit dissapointing. We had the steak pies which were quite bland and not quite the tasty feast we were expecting. The pastry was great but the filling not quite so, the meat tasted more like tinned stew? The stew was placed on the plate with the pastry on top, the gravy swimming all over the plate. The beers were nice and cold though and the service was friendly and the interior design cool - but the pies didn't live up to the hype. Its a poor restaurant that can't make a good steak pie. Best eatery in balloch. food superb, great value for money and very tasty especially the steak-pie. rooms are very comfortable and have a nice homely feel to them. staff are very friendly especially matt the waiter. couldnt recommend a better place on the banks of loch lomond. M O'N

	New Italian Restaurant Cucina We recently visited the new Italian Restaurant Cucina opened in Balloch. On our 1st visit we found the interior warm and comfortable and the staff friendly. The one problem that day was that there was no Pizzas on the menu, which was disappointing, but the Lasagna that we both had was beautifully presented and very very tasty. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to book for Xmas Eve and take the rest of the family. That proved also very successful, the steaks were cooked to perfection and Pizza were definitely on the menu and proved to be worth the wait.Thank you to Jason and all his staff we will definitely be back.
